Practice

Practice makes you your BEST and being your BEST helps you to become excellent.  Reading an article in "Business Insider," sums up my belief of being prepared. The article suggest that;
Numerous researchers now agree that 10,000 hours of practice as the minimum is necessary to achieve expertise in a complex domain.  This suggests that we all have remarkable capacity to influence our own outcomes.  One of Ericsson’s findings is that practice is not only the most important ingredient in achieving excellence, but also the most difficult and the least intrinsically enjoyable.
I often use quotes like "Prior planning prevents poor performance," to keep me motivated to always strive to be prepared.  Which is why practicing is so often the most important ingredient when you are trying to achieve being your BEST. Practice also breads CONSISTENCY!
